First race of the season is in the books and it was a damn good race. No pics this week since no one saved the reply (oops) but there is a bit of housecleaning to take care of.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES:
- First and foremost: I apologize for the ridiculous amount of lag in the lobby. I’ve done everything I can to remedy the problem (from port-forwarding three different routers to having eight different technicians come out to my house and ‘fix’ eight different things) and it was still extremely disruptive for a few racers. As such, next round I’m wiring my Xbox directly into the router to avoid a similar situation next race.
- Secondly, and only slightly less importantly, please build your car to the lap time posted in the pre-race thread. Most everyone did and for that reason it was a great race amongst the majority of the field but there were some who either grabbed one of my cars out of the club garage or just didn’t bother to thoroughly test their cars.

Hey I tested my car plenty, I’m just not that good of a driver.
Would like to figure out why I had understeer in the last 7 or 8 laps though.

That's probably the magic of the internet. I have had similar happen. There must be some fall off on the tires even though 'simulation' is not on.

I know you cant tune while racing online, but set up a lobby to do some practice laps get a feel for what changes. I know I did that last week got some runs in and realized I wasn't quick enough and what I needed to change (add horsepower so I could keep up on the straights for example) and if there were any differences in lap times (I ran faster, but not fast enough).

Dude get in there next race, it’s a lot more fun racing with other people. As long as you don’t like divebomb corners and wreck everyone a few little bumps are fine. Unless you’re talking about lag which shouldn’t be a thing next race (hopefully) in which case I’m sorry you were dealing with that anyways.

I didn’t have any lag I just get nervous when other cars are around me and I don’t want people to think I’m a dick due to my aggressiveness.

I think the tires do change grip, as we have experienced that in every race. Look at your tire temps in a replay after a few laps. That will likely tell you something... as they change based on tire air pressure, suspension settings, and how hard they are used.

I posted the race replay on my SF (robluvcars1). It only saved about 30 minutes of it...I also gifted/sent you some photos. Use them if you like...

Sorry I just now saw this. Diffs aren’t required but you can use them since they don’t add PI. Tbh I completely forgot about them because I don’t tune myself and thus run with the stock diff.
